about

Never released this album. I guess it was a bit to dark. I still like it but never thought really about releasing it. I dont want beats catching dust so im just gonna release it without any promotion or anything.
Hope you like it and please read what it was about to understand the whole concept.

A place where you want to go if you need to get away from something. From anything, the weather, life, even when you don't need shelter it will be the place that you need. It is only possible to reach it at night. The road to the shelter is never the same, but the weather is. It is always raining or snowing, but that doesn’t bother you. Only street lanterns are shining a warm light. The shelter is on a corner of the street. It is only there when you are looking for it. You will never get lost while trying to get there, even when the road is long. From the outside it looks dark, only a little light shines through the curtains. During daytime the Shelter is vanquished. But when you are there it is always night time, but it doesn't feel dark for you, it is a bright place that looks dark.
When you arrive at the shelter it will be warm inside. Quiet, but there are people talking. Only in the shelter is still allowed to smoke, which doesn't bother or affect anyone. People share their stories, people listen. Memories will be shared, good ones, sad ones, wise ones, happy ones. Melancholy ones. There is always one bartender, an old male. He knows everyone that has visited the shelter. He knows you before you have entered the shelter. He even knows what kind of drink you want, he already pours you your drink when you have entered. But he won't tell you that, not necessary. There is a jukebox with all the songs ever created. Sometimes there is a musician playing. There is no agenda or time schedule for when there are artists coming by and doing their performance. They just go to the little stage in a corner and start playing. People never get drunk in the shelter, they just can't, how much they drink they just don't get drunk. Maybe only a little tipsy. But in the shelter everyone is feeling themselves, no alcohol needed to get in a curtain mood.
Sometimes there is an otter coming by and he is playing his beats on a maschine. There is hardly any light when the otter is there. Only some light from the bar and the light from the machine that the otter is using to play his beats from. Everytime that there is a musician playing everyone stops what they are doing and starts to listen. They all get their own ideas with the music, their own little trips.
The Shelter is neither small nor big. It is like the size of the inside changes every time. Sometimes it can feel really small but cozy, sometimes it is a large space but even then it feels small. You know when to leave the Shelter when it is time. When you leave it is still dark and raining.
You are always welcome in The Shelter. The people that stayed forever in the Shelter are now in the portrait paintings on the wall.
When you get home from the Shelter you get the answers and you’ll know what to do. You are able to let things go after a visit at the Shelter.
Some people tried to find the Shelter during the day. They did find a street corner that looked similar to the one that looks like the Shelter. But it was just a regular coffee bar where people buy their overpriced coffee while they were already in a rush in their busy stressful life, based on others opinions.
